How exciting it must have been to be around everyone for such a joyous occasion. I want to hear more about the gifts. Which was your favorite? What did you get that you didn't think you would? Lower backaches mostly at night and swelling from this past weekend that is slowly going down. Other than that, I feel really good. I'm almost 31 weeks ~ can you believe it??? It is going by so fast! I still have so much to do to get ready! Aren't you going on vacation soon? Do you know where yet??? Hey, maybe the R & R will help your DH decide he's ready to ttc and if not, what better time to get him drunk!?! Now you can fix up the nursery and all! 20wks Re: Our First Shower Thanks Dana!As far as the gifts...well, let's see...we got alot of the big item stuff and we really didn't expect to get all of the ones we did. We got the stroller, the highchair, the Pack N Play, a rug we wanted from Pottery Barn Kids, the nursery monitor, the Boppy pillow, the Discovery Bug Play Mat, the Moses Basket, the mobile, the "first tooth", "first curl" and "birth Certificate" keepsake capsules. We got lots of adorable stuffed animals and hooded towels with washcloths, bibs, booties, teethers, rattles, blankets, picture frames. We got "Baby's Frist Christmas" ornament, a piece of one of our Nativity sets called "Angel of the Heart", a keepsake Bible, and the "Going Home" outfit, which is simply beautiful. As far as a favorite...hmmmmmmmm...I love them all and, of course, some are very special, but I guess my favorites would have to be the going home gown, the bible, a musical puppy pull toy that is so adorable and the Moses basket. By the time we finish with showers, I wonder if we'll have room in this house for anything!
