Could someone please tell me if they know if this is legal?

My husband came home from Trader Joe's with:

Chevre

Made with pure goats' milk

It was in the cheese section.

Ingredients: cultured pasteurized goat milk, enzymes, salt.

Hi " moomaof2 " <,

Chevre is illegal. See

http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/knowledge_base/kb/chevre.htm

also:

From the BTVC site, " If a cheese is not a processed cheese

(manufactured) but is a cheese that has had a bacterial culture

involved with its production and is aged at least 30 days. Elaine

says its OK. "

A Goat cheddar cheese would be okay.

Hi,

Just found a possible online source for goat cheedar if you're interested!

In the process of trying to confirm if some of the offered products are SCD

legal. Just sent out postings/questions. But check out

igourmet.com and look under " All Goat " or " Goat Cheddar "

Let me know if you have any luck!
