Guest guest
i have had the dr at the gym look at it well both doctors and the therapist and i have researched it on the internet.. they said its called housemaids knee and its sort of an inflamation caused by the kneecap getting scarred by years of use and rubbing against the bone and then it fills up with fluid when it gets irritated they showed me some exercises to strengthen the muscles around the knee and i take some supplements to help with the inflamation basically its just worn out its ALOT better now that i am taking the supplements before i could not kneel on it without going thru the roof in pain now the pain is only occasional when i have over used it..i am on my feet all day and have to bend down to pick up books plus the time at the gym so if i baby it i am fine but that rules out tread mills and eliptical machines plain old walking is fine its the pounding i get on the machines and the stress they put on my knee..does that sound like what you had wrong? catherine
