Thankful for Flex Points

Well. Hmmm. Yesterday was my birthday and I made myself a promise to

journal by HAND every day this week (my WW week runs Th-W). My aunt has been

taking a cake decorating class and brought me a gorgeous cake last night. I

had a piece for supper and then one for dessert - but nothing else for

supper. I've now put it all into Tupperware for my dad to take home with

him when he stops by this afternoon. (Yay me!) I thought that would be the

end of the cake issues.

I got to work today and a co-worker had brought me two cupcakes. Oh. I did

eat one. I also journaled it. (Yay me!) Another co-worker brought in a

French silk pie... just for " us girls. " Hmmm.. Yeah. So I had a piece. 14.5

points for ONE piece. Thank goodness that I've already journaled my lunch

and my cereal snack. Without dipping into my Flex Points just yet, I am at

a -2.4 points. BUT.. before the Flexpoints program, I probably would have

eaten the other cupcake and maybe even gotten a pizza for supper since I

have already " blown " it because this is the first day of a new WW week and I

have already overdrawn the bank. BUT wait! I haven't exercised yet for the

day, that should earn me 2-3 AP to bring me to zero. I have some low-point

frozen dinners in the freezer (like a 4 point pot roast). I should only have

to USE about 4 Flex points! (I also won't be able to look at cake or pie

without feeling incredibly uncomfortable for quite some time.)

My next challenge will be to meet some friends for breakfast on Saturday and

then go to a HUGE craft show. The good news is that the restaurant serves

Egg Beaters. :D
