About hair

Hi everyone,

Thank you for the kind words. I have thin nothing hair. It is dark

brown almost black. It has been getting thinner for the past 5 years.

This summer I was under alot of stress so I lost even more. For me,

getting a wig might be a plus.

I have a six year old son, . He will turn seven next week. I

have to be strong and have a good attitude because of him. I don't

want to scare him. We are going to go to a costume shop and pick out

a wig. I was thinking of a cute bob maybe blue or green. He thinks I

should get a red/white/blue clown wig. I say a big no to that. My

neighbor offered to lend me her rainbow wig. Sometime this week I

will get my hair cut shorter. I am not sure when, I have Dr. appts.

everyday for the rest of the week.

Tomorrow I go for pre-op stuff. Monday I get the port in and chemo

starts. I insisted to get a port because I have always had bad veins.

I usually get stuck two or three times just to draw blood. I had no

idea at the time what getting a port meant, I just knew it had to be

better than without one.
