Guest guest
It's 9 degrees right now, the sky, ground, air, everything is white. Weatherman says we won't see double digits again until maybe Thursday.... Yay! Got the last of my current designs charted and off to my partner in Kansas, ready for sale at a big event next weekend, so now I can stop staring at this little screen so hard... Trying to choose between a grain pilaf or a pot of bean soup as the warmest supper for tonight....(pork tacos sound EXCELLENT... just another 20 days of Advent....) Remembered I bought some leggings to wear under my church skirts and stuck them away in a drawer. Got them on now under my jeans - just enough " more warm " . Gotta get a couple more pairs of these!!! DIdn't make church today, the water pump went blooey in the car and Himself has been since yesterday working on changing it - has bolts in a weird place, apparently. SO will spend the day watching " Lord of the Rings " , and dinking around with new designs, and hunting cold drafts and covering them, and generally goofing.... Warm day, everybody! in WY " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return... " http://www.flickr.com/photos/liadains_fancies http://practical-blackwork.blogspot.com http://practicalblackwork.com update time We had some small snow flurries early this a.m. although the weather report isn't for snow until tonight, Monday and Tuesday. We are contrary folks in these parts and we just have to go against the " official " word from the National Weather Service (NOAA). lol Last night was better for me as far as my freezing issues. I slept in a robe and added an extra blanket and finally got warm again. MS has messed with my internal body thermostat and when I get cold I can't warm up easily. But then the summer heat messes with me, too. It's a tough thing to deal with but it could be way worse. We have a good stock of firewood in the house, a supply of food and we are ready for our big storm if it actually comes to pass! I really need to get in the kitchen and get the pork roast on the stove. We are having pork tacos tonight--one of our very favorite meals. The meat will be cooked slowly with green chilies, cumin, onions, garlic and a little water until the meat shreds off the bone. Then corn tortillas will be fried into taco shells. We serve it with shredded lettuce, limes and guacamole. Have a great day everyone! Sharon join me on Facebook: Sharon Mars wobbletowalk@... This email is a natural hand made product. Remembered I bought some leggings to wear under my church skirts and stuck them away in a drawer. Guest guest
Well, this past week: I went shopping. Could not find half the stuff I was looking for. LOL Made some bodybutter for Christmas presents. I helped get ready for a surprise birthday party that E was having here. Enjoyed the party. Had one of my sisters and her hubby visit all day yesterday. Plans for this week: Make Creamy Italian Fudge. Bake Dish Pan Cookies. Wrap presents. Help Patience as much as I can. Go to the Christmas eve dinner at Bev's. Go to the gift exchange party at Jim's brothers house. And above all else avoid my Ex as much as possible. By the way I am feeling fine for the shape I am in.
