Hi

I am a little past 18 weeks and I have not gained a single pound, in fact I

have lost over 10 lbs.

I am 2 yrs post op 5'9 and when I found out I was preg, 198, as of this

morning I am 183.

I am not by any means watching calories. If anything I have been eating too

much, but I have had a lot of morning sickness, which has just started

getting better. My ob does not seem too concerned. But I am worried. Not

that I wouldn't love to not gain weight but I know this is not realistic.

Has anyone else gone through this?/

I was really ill the first few months of this pregnancy and lost weight

also, about 10 pounds or so. Now at this point I have gained 30 and it

scares me. The weight thing just gets us either way in this!! I am trying

to relax and reassure myself that although my appetite and food volume size

has increased throughout the pregnancy, that I will still be able to manage

this tool after the birth and hopefully I haven't damaged it.

Hi Jen,

I didnt gain weight until my 4th month, and now at the beginning of my 9th

month, I have more then made up for it with an almost 30 pound weight gain!!! I

am sure you will start gaining eventually, but if your doctor isnt worried about

it, and the baby looks fine, then I wouldnt worry too much. Have they done

ultrasounds on you yet to make sure baby is growing ok? If they have, and if

the baby is, then you and baby are just fine. Some people just dont gain, (I

dont like those people very much lol) Ü j/k....I feel the same way about women

who go in with 2 hour labors! ha ha.......Anyway, good luck to you and let us

know your progress!

Hi,

I am 32 weeks pregnant, and have lost continuously up until 2 weeks ago. I

gained 2 lbs. My baby is on the bigger side so far, and my Doctor is pleased.

Don't worry, it will be ok!

EDD 1-14-03, it's a boy- !

Jen-

I am now at almost 29 weeks. I lost about 15 lbs in the first

couple months of pregnancy. My ultrasound showed the baby growing

just right for her dates and she looked very healthy-- so you can

lose weight and be just fine. I, too, had lots of all-day sickness,

vomiting, the works.

You may or may not begin to gain again as you feel better. I gained

some of what I lost back but now I am leveling off and have not

gained in sveeral weeks, I think primarily because as the baby gets

bigger, I just can't eat as much.

Anyhow, good luck and try not to worry!
