Ah. So begins a NEW week and I'm already half tempted to order a

pizza tonight instead of COOKING my steak and veggies. But coming

here actually made me change my mind - so THANK YOU in advance!

Anywho, I weighed in today at 150. Not bad. I weighed in last week at

like 153, but I know I was retaining water due to my monthly visitor

and such. I was also pigging out, and I was relatively clean this

weekend.

Today has been good - I only ate 3 little chocolates today. Not that

big of a deal. Better than the whole box lol. And again, coming here

is keeping me from ordering a pizza tonight. Whew!

Yesterday was a challenge. I ate well, even at the party, but I did

give in and have a SMALL piece of birthday cake. I kind of messed up

at dinner though. I ordered a half breast of chicken with a side of

fries with the intentions of eating half and saving the rest for

lunch today. Well, it comes with garlic bread and I had wolfed down a

slice before I realized what I was doing. I don't know if its

coincidental or not, but as soon as I ate the bread I got SO hungry

and put away all of my fries and a quarter chicken. I drank water at

dinner instead of beer, so really the only BAD was the fries. Next

time I'll do something like get cole slaw (ewwwwwww) and give it away

to someone else at the table and order a baked potato or something.

Oh well. Live and learn, right? It could have been much worse though -

I LOVE dipping my fries in RANCH dressing (helloooooooo calories!),

but this time I only used pepper and a little bit of ketchup. So

although my eating wasn't PERFECT, it was much better. And believe

me, I'd like to take credit for my ranch willpower, the only reason I

didn't give in was because the waitress didn't return to ask if we

needed anything until after my fries were gone.

Sigh

Hopefully this week will be easier. I'm adding " the gym " to my

workout schedule. I need some off ice training, especially cardio to

get my metabolism going.
