Guest guest
Hi, Has anyone heard of cryocath procedure?? I see where they have preformed several of these in Tampa. Does anyone know if you could have a slow heart beat and qualify for this?? I know one with a rapid heart could. This is a new procedure. I enjoy seeing all of the messages. Have had A-fib for 3 years. Thanks to all and have a good day. Joyce

Somewhere I ran across a writeup that said cryo stuff was safer for svt than burning, because of the closeness to the av node. With cryo they can stun the target area first and make sure it isn't too close to the node before they commit. Is it correct that the area ablated for svt is always close to the av node...
