Guest guest
Some interesting items about the opening Ceremonies relating to Clubfoot. One of the final locations that the Olympic torch was at before it went into the Olympic Stadium was the nearby SLC Shriners hospital. The hospital is only 1-2 miles away from the stadium and is where Dr. Steve Santoro as well as other doctors there use the Ponseti method. Also, Kristi Yamaguchi, the World Champion Figure Skater, (who had clubfoot that was treated with 2-4 years of casting) was one of the major performers in the Opening Ceremonies. and (3-17-99)
