We had a nice Christmas too. Our son, grandson, and daughter in law next door were over. Our granddaughter is in Vegas visiting her father. Our son from Wis. and granddaughter are down and will leave Tues. morning. Its snowing again. UGH!!!!!! I am sick of snow. They are saying possibly another 5 inches. Is there no end.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. We had a lovely time! Both of my kids, their spouses and all eight of my grandkids were here with me. In addition my ex-husband's daughter, C, was here with her girlfriend. C is not related to me but is half-sister to my own kids. She is a sweetheart and I always enjoy seeing her:) We all exchanged gifts, homemade goodies and had a great time. I baked two hams and made a load of scalloped potatoes. I made 10 pounds of potatoes and I have about two cups worth left. lol We had a white Christmas for the second year in a row. The fireplace kept us toasty and warm... The company keep us even warmer!Today I am shopping ebay and elsewhere for a water pump. Our temporary pump bit the dust the day before Christmas. I can get water from the faucet but we have no water pressure--just a tiny stream. So no showers. Sponge baths are not my idea of clean. lol I called all over town and here on the mountain looking for a pump but couldn't find one. Not even at the solar supply stores... I have found some good deals on ebay so I will compare and check on feedback and decide on a pump by tomorrow so it will, hopefully, be shipped by Monday. The weather is still COLD. Yesterday morning it was 6 degrees and this morning the same. We have another snow storm coming on Monday or Tuesday so it will likely not warm up much anytime soon. Your Christmas sounds warm and cozy! I'm glad it was so special for you. Wish we had a white Christmas; I'm a bit jealous of yours! I mean there was snow on the ground, but not flying in the air, or coating the trees which is what I like.So sorry to read of your pump. Hopefully you'll find one on ebay. Here it is 45* and raining, so all of the snow we got is gone, and the streets are clear.
