Guest guest
Thanks Bill. When she was at her best her ketones were lower than they are now but her ratio was higher....I can't figure that one out. I have reluctantly put in a call to her doctor this morning to see whether he thinks it is 'safe' to continue with these now daily seizures while I fiddle with the diet and try to get control with it again. I know tho that he will talk about changing the meds. As long as I know the seizures are not harming her I am happy to leave them alone. The diet is what has given her her qualilty of life back with or without the seizures at least she is laughing and alert. Leita. > You are at a fairly low ratio. Even though the urine ketones are high, > that doesn't necessarily mean that blood ketones are high enough for > good control
