When I landed on this message board by accident, one of the members

commented on how lucky I was to have stumbled onto this website. At

the time, I had no idea what he meant because I had never heard of

resurfacing before. After doing just a little research, I decided

that RESURFACING, and not a THR, was for me, especially since I am

one of those people who just has to move (daily aerobic, tennis or

biking). The next step was to do more in depth research, read all

the old posts, follow the progress of people as they went for their

surgeries, and ask a lot of questions. I chose to have a BHR with

Dr. De Smet in Belgium last November and have returned to aerobics,

tennis, biking, hiking, etc with a great range of motion, no pain and

absolutely no worries of dislocation. To research, you can find a

lot of information on this site alone. Go to the left of this box,

and click on Files, Links, or Database. Let me be the one to tell
