Guest guest
Hi All, Still trying to get on the SCD bandwagon, but keep discovering ingredients and supplements that are not legal! Can anyone okay the following items? 1. Welch's Homogenized Tomato Juice from Concentrate Ingredients: Tomato Juice from Concentrate (Water, Tomato Juice concentrate), Salt 2. Spice World, Inc. Minced Garlic Ingredients: Garlic, Water, Phosphoric Acid 3. I am questioning whether or not my son tolerates egg or not. Secondary to his +1 IgG and +2 IgA response to ovalbumin, I've been cooking with egg yolk only. My DAN! team suggested asking online about a powdered egg substitue that is SCD legal. Does such a product exist? 4. My son takes Biocidin-Advanced Formula (made by BioBotanical Research). I have yet to be able to get in touch with them to confirm SCD compliance. Can anyone tell me if this is an SCD legal supplement? If not, can anyone suggest an SCD legal alternative? Listed ingredients: Beet Root, Rapberry, Milk Thistle, Echinacea, Black Walnut, Goldenseal, Shitake, White Willow, Garlic, Plantain, Fumitory, Gentian, Tea tree, Galbanum, Lavendar, Oregano Thanks! :-) Abby Mom to Noah Age 3: PDDNOS: SCD 1 Month
Guest guest
Hi Abby, > 1. Welch's Homogenized Tomato Juice from Concentrate > Ingredients: Tomato Juice from Concentrate (Water, Tomato Juice > concentrate), Salt Heinz and 's tomato juice have been checked out by Elaine. This may be okay, but to be on the safe side a letter in writing from the company assuring that it has only these ingredients would be a good idea. > 2. Spice World, Inc. Minced Garlic > Ingredients: Garlic, Water, Phosphoric Acid Not really a good idea, it could have some illegal free flow agents added to prevent sticking. Homemdehydrated garlic is better or fresh chopped garlic. > 3. Sorry again, it contains illegals: milk thistle, plantain etc. You could try http://pecanbread.com/supplements.html for a substitute Sheila, SCD 48 mos, 20 yrs UC mom of , SCD 33 mos
