Guest guest
Oh you are doing a whole lot of BAD things to your body. Reduce CARBS to lose weight as reducing calories increases RT3. t lowers your metabolism as it thinks you are starving. By JUST reducing carbs (not eliminating them!!) you wil be able to lose some weight and feel MUCH better. Proton pumpo inhibitors are BAD news. They prevent your stomach gfrom making ANY stomach acid which causes malabsorbtion if used too long. Meq is how potasisum in the higher doses is measured. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/1_mEq_Potassium_equals_how_many_mg_Potassium I would avoid the high acid foods as they do exascerbate gastritis and taking supplements for potassium woudl be MUCH better on your stomach. Have you determined for certain that you have HIGH stomach acid? Many docs just prescribe PPI's and never really knwo if they are treating high or low acid! Low acid causes the same symptoms as high. You might want to try a test of apple cider vinegar taken 1 tablespoon wiht 1 tb water with a meal. If you have no gastirc pain then it is liekly you have LOW stomach acid and the PPI is doing more harm than good. If oyu have been on it over a month you need ot give your body a break from ti anyway. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
