Donna,

If your son has an IEP they have to provide bus service whether or not he can

walk. My son has always been a walker but there have been a few occasions where

he has needed his wheelchair, like when his braces weren't working or he had

casts on or something, and I just had to let them know we needed a wheelchair

accessable bus in the very beginning and tell them most of the time he won't use

it but he will sometimes. My younger son who is not at all physically disabled

also gets transported because he has an IEP.

bus service

Hello everyone!!

Next year my son will be considered a walker. If we would like, does the

school still need to supply bus service? The school is far enough away where I

wouldn't let him walk by himself anyways.

Thank you,

Donna
