Guest guest
I have never had any problems with my bowels until last August (2003). I began passing small amounts of blood, and having stools pass whenever I passed gas. Then, I gradually began having more and more severe sympoms of spastic colon/Irritable bowel: diarhea-constipation, severe cramps and spasms, plus LOts of pressure in the rectal area. I was treated for Irritable bowel syndrome, plus was told the blood and pressure was from my hemmorhoids. I suffered unbelieveable pain, and lost 60 lbs, until finally I was adfmitted in March (2004) for testing. My doctor and I were stunned to learn that I had 2 tumors in my colon. I also used to think I ate fairly well/healthily etc... Theresa > Tis is so true, I had a screening for colon cancer 3 yrs ago, no family history, took calcium, aspirin and multi-vitamin, ate 5 fruits and veggies, especially those that fight cancer. I had no signs, expect I felt like I ccouldn't empty my bowels all at once, it was like a spastic colon > I decided to go for another colonostomy. I found I had a large tumor. None of the drs. could believe it. Called it a nightmare story > So anyone can get CC Joan
