Gee, sounds like where I work. ) Seriously though, I hope you can get proper testing and get on some meds that will help. There may still be a problem with depression, even on meds, but then again, it may be what you need to feel better. Hang in there and keep us posted on how things are going and how you are feeling. I've been on the 50mcg of Synthroid (up from 25) for 3 days now, I'm still feeling pretty depressed and blah, it took a few days to start feeling good after i started the 25mcg synthroid even though the good only lasted for about 10 days, so I'm hoping I'll be able to get back there with the right dosage. I also found out who the top endicronologist in my area is and made an apt. to go see him next month, I'm looking fwd to finding out more about what's really going on with me. Wish me luck! Everyone > have a great day. > It takes time for the dose to kick in and the thyroid to decide whether or not it's gonna back off on production or not, so hang in there and give it 6 weeks before changing your dose. Hopefully the doc will treat you by symptoms as much as blood work.
