Any suggestions on how to go about this? Should I be looking for a

endicronologist, PC, psychopharm??? Thx.

psychopham?? Gee, sounds like where I work. :o)

Seriously though, I hope you can get proper testing

and get on some meds that will help. There may still

be a problem with depression, even on meds, but then

again, it may be what you need to feel better. Hang

in there and keep us posted on how things are going

and how you are feeling.

Thanks, will do. I've been on the 50mcg of Synthroid (up from 25)

for 3 days now, I'm still feeling pretty depressed and blah, it took

a few days to start feeling good after i started the 25mcg synthroid

even though the good only lasted for about 10 days, so I'm hoping

I'll be able to get back there with the right dosage. I also found

out who the top endicronologist in my area is and made an apt. to go

see him next month, I'm looking fwd to finding out more about what's

really going on with me. Wish me luck! Everyone have a great day.

It takes time for the dose to kick in and the thyroid

to decide whether or not it's gonna back off on

production or not, so hang in there and give it 6

weeks before changing your dose. Hopefully the doc

will treat you by symptoms as much as blood work.
