I cannot imagine them waiting that long unless they were pretty sure it is

not serious.

By the way if the polyp is as small as you imply it will be removed during

your colonoscopy.

Try to relax it sounds minor at least for now and if God forbid it is not you

seem to have caught it early.

Colon cancer is almost always an extremely slow growing cancer. So with only

one polyp you shouldn't have to worry about a few weeks.
