Well --- that sounds a lot like Hatha Yoga to me, and I am wondering if anyone else has found yoga to help with afib? My wife and I started yoga classes about three years ago, primarily to aid flexibility and reduce stress. My personal experience is not very scientific, in that my medications have changed over those same three years --- but the frequency of my afib episodes has decreased and I really do think the yoga is helping. Hatha yoga encourages deep " belly breathing " in coordination with body movement and stretching --- and our classes end with a 15-minute " relaxation " (often focusing on calm, cozy, pleasant meditation). Now when I feel unwanted stress, or a string of ectopics --- I am able to use my " yoga breath " to lower my blood pressure (sometimes an afib trigger), " center myself " , and " live in the moment " to reduce anxiety. It seems to work for me. H, in Charlotte
