Guest guest
I have not had my Ferritin tested, but I did call my doctor before Christmas and asked for the test, he never called me back. I have an appointment with him on Monday Jan 4. Should I ask him for any other tests? Below are my adrenal and thyroid results. T4, Free Direct 1.02 0.61 - 1.76 TSH 0.942 0.450 - 4.500 Free T3 2.7 2.3 - 4.2 Reverse T3 362 H pg/ml 90 - 350 Adrenal 7:00 0.310 0.025 - 0.600 12:00 0.010 < 0.010 - 0.330 4:00 0.019 0.010 - 0.200 11:00 < 0.010 < 0.010 - 0.090 I'm having trouble finding things on this forum, it took me all day to find if I received any responses to my post. I feel I should get something to boost my adrenals. I just tried Isocort, but I didn't like the way it made me feel. I only took two pellets yesterday and I was awake all night. I also think I should be taking T3. I did order cynomel, but I'm not crazy about self medicating myself. I'm just tired of going from one doctor to another and everyone of them said my lab results are normal.
Guest guest
I got a reaction taking the isocrot. I took one and my heart was racing. I did not feel good after taking it. I can't even imagine taking more than one at a time. Is this normal, to make you feel horrible? I was supposed to go out today and couldn't because of the way I felt after taking Isocort. I was up all night last night after taking 1 pellet yeaterday morning and 1 pellet yesterday afternoon. I am usually very sensitive to meds. So, now what else can I take? Thanks for any advice. Guest guest
Jackie, my hair fell out to the point of bald spots several times when my thyroid dosage was decreased and when I was given weaker brands of dessicated thyroid. My hair has grown back awesomly. It was one of the last things to improve, I think my body had more important things to fix first! I was feeling ok for about 2 years before I noticed my hair getting nice again. Right after that my skin got oily, and my moods lightened up. I really think the healing is from the inside out. Don't stress, it doesn't help your hair at all! I once got my hair cut, permed with special highlights that helped disguise the problems, made me feel a lot better. > > > Hi, I'm new to the forum, so I don't know how it works. Guest guest
Finally realized how to reply. Sorry about the email. Thanks for your words of comfort. My hair is beyond getting a new hair style. It so thin now there is nothing I can do with it. I have to wear it pulled back when I go out and the clip I hold it with hardly stays in. My bangs are see through. I did get it highlighted and it really didn't help like it usually does. That's why I'm so upset. The worst part is the many doctors that I've been to will not give me medication. They say my lab work is normal. I had to go to four different doctors and beg to finally get the right tests done. I decided to self medicate and I started taking the Isocort but I got a rapid heart beat and I felt sick after taking one pellet. I took more to make sure that it was the Isocort, but I got the same rection everytime. I need to boost my adrenal before I start taking the cynomel T3 that I ordered. Now I don't know what to take for the adrenals. > > > > > > Hi, I'm new to the forum, so I don't know how it works. What brought > > me here is my fast shedding hair.
