Guest guest
When I first got on the internet I was very naive about people collecting information. But, I already had one jump ahead of you because all my credit was taken away from me and it's something that takes a better part of 10 yrs to get back. I try to kept allot about myself....to myself. Some slips out and afterwards I hope and pray that I haven't added to a past problem. Once it happens to you, you suddenly realize how quickly it can all be gone, your identity. And trust me.... NO LAW in the land will help you get it back. Our laws are not designed to help the victim only to punish the guilty (if that's what you want to call it) But, even putting your full name on the top of your email address.... it leaves an open invitation for anyone to start asking questions as to where you live and your age, then they will ask what year your born in... ok, now they have your last name, first name, your age, your birthdate, your place or residence and location. It's amazing what they can find out about you just by asking simple questions and most people, because we're far to trusting, will tell them what they want to know. And women with kids at home should really protect all information. It's a mistake many of us have made so it's a live and learn process.... I'm protecting my young chicks...LOL <smile> Vicki
