Guest guest
Karima, I've become more of a 'lurker' on the board not posting very often lately but it sounds like you just really need a hug and some TLC and that is what we on this board do best:support each other with cyber hugs, sharing knowledge, and very real prayers. Of course you are confused when you get conflicting info.Do you have an oncologist? If you do,I'd give him/her a call and ask for some serious direction, also ask for some coordination with the surgeon.Usually it is the oncologist who 'leads the team'and makes the over-all treatment plan, writing the orders for any chemo and or radiation, etc. Facilities are different depending on what's available but this is the general rule. Even though I haven't posted much lately,I do read and I have to admit that I've wanted to have a good hard talk with with your daughters more than once! You haven't said how old they are but that they are adults.I think it is time someone explained the facts of life to them and told them to 'grow up'.Perhaps another relative or a close friend could have this talk with them.I understand denial and all families have their problems, history & baggage but at times like this all those things need to be forgotten & forgiven.Life is way too short to waste on trivial matters. Sorry this is so long,I just wanted you to know that someone does care and you will get through this awful time. There are brighter days ahead and I will pray they come soon! Hugs & Prayers, H.
