Recently had appt with Dr Gresula in Galveston, TX.. Medically, he feels that I

can postpone surgey for 1 plus years with no damage and still have the resurf.

X-rays show the same as two years ago (taking COS DS that was basis for study

showing glucosamine/chondrotin (sp) was a positive influence but, of course, do

not know if this is what really helped). To help offset strain on

muscles/tendons am doing a rigorous stetching/strengthing program. What I need

is a form of aeorbic exercise (not swimming) that will cause the least wear and

tear on hip. Someone mentioned using an elliptical trainer or recumbent bike

but that maybe was for post op exercise. Any enlightment would be appreciated.
