Guest guest
> I have been lurking but not posting much lately. My husband was diagnosed with stage IV cc last December (2002). He had a colon resection last December (2002). He had 3 large mets to his liver which were removed surgically in January of 2003. He had a repeat colonscopy last Monday with no polyps and no tumors found. He has check ups every 3 months to check for recurrence. His last visit to the onc. was in December. That exam went very well, CEA 0.5, abdomen, chest and pelvis CT showed no evidence of disease. When he was originally diagnosed I prayed that he would live to see our daughter turn 7. She turned 8 today and we celebrated together. He returns for his 3 month check up next Monday. He will have blood work and CT scans with a visit to the onc. the following Tuesday. I miss so much because I always get nervous before these appointments and he was always able to calm me. Please keep us in your prayers, that this check up will once again show no evidence of disease. I keep all of you in my prayers as well. DONNA, PLEASE KNOW I WILL KEEP YOU ALL IN MY PRAYERS.TRY NOT TO WORRY I KNOW THAT IS EASIER SAID THAN DONE.KEEP US POSTED, AND REMEMBER WE ARE HERE FOR YOU.(((((SENDING HUGS AND PRAYERS YOUR WAY))))))))))))))) GOD BLESS-JANA

Guest guest
Donna- It sounds like your husband has been doing really well, and that his oncologist is keeping close watch on him. Although one can never be certain, completely resected liver mets and clean CT scans since, I think give reason for optimism. Here is hoping that you two will be dancing at your daughter's wedding! My prayers are with you. Best wishes, Kris
