Guest guest
Free T4 1.41 0.82-1.77 Free T3 5.4 2.0-4.4 high Reverse T3 302 90-350 Ferritin 45 (up from 35) 10-291 Vitamin D 67 (up from 25) Antithyroglobulin Ab 115 0-40 high Estradiol 14.5 <6.0-54.7 Vitamin B12 354 211-911 progesterone 0.6 0.1- 0.8 Estrogens total 60 <40 OK First any time I see FT4 over 1.4 ( yes even your 1.41 is too high) it is a cause fro Rt3 to build. SO this shows me a bit too much thyroid for your system at the time. Then wiht LOW Ferritin you are really asking for more trouble with trying ot raise thyroid. First I owuld go back to 1/.5 grians natural and work on getting your Ferritin higher. As it goes higher you will probably feel more hypo as your body will be able to utilize thyroid better so those blood levels will fall a bit more. ONE Ferritin si abotu 60 you can probably go back ot 2 grains natural thyroid. You may hav ehad RT3 all along as I feel certain T4 only meds are a huge cause of htis issue. But your ratio is not horrid right now at 17.8 so oyu MAY be ablke to correct it just by gettign ferritin up and reducing T4(by reducing natural htyroid) until it is better. When your ferritin is at a better level I would retest FT3 nd RT3 to be sure it has not worsened while you were gettign there. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
Thank you Val that makes sence, and I will try your suggestion. I lowered my Erfa back to 1 1/2 grains today. I am currently taking 180 mg of ferrous bisglycinate chelate and my ferritin only went up 8 points in 6 weeks. Can I safetly take more to raise it quicker?
