Guest guest
I have no rear end....lol.....I had always thought I had a big butt and dh tells me I have no butt an so did my best friend......if only I could turn my stomach around on my body, I would have a thin stomach and a big butt! lol..... The only jeans I have found that fit me are Lee's. I have small legs, no butt and was wearing a 26 and now I am wearing 22's. My most favorite jeans are about $16.95 a pair and they are from Wal*Mart. The brand is Just My Size and they are the strech jeans and I have gotten so many compliments when I wear them! My best friend who knows and supports me in my WW journey, said that she could not see that I had lost any weight (she was being nice, and had seen the number on the scale go down for me but just never saw me any thinner. Well I had these jeans on the other day and she could not believe how much thinner I looked! She told me to toss out the rest of my clothes and just wear those jeans! lol.......Guess what I have worn everyday since she told me that? lol.......they are getting washed constantly, I need to buy a few more pairs. Guest guest
I do believe this condition is known as " Noassatall " . I too suffer from it. If you look at me sideways you can't tell which is my front and which is my back. > Re: Stehpanie......jeans > > > I have no rear end....lol.....I had always thought I had a > big butt and dh tells me I have no butt an so did my best > friend......if only I could turn my stomach around on my > body, I would have a thin stomach and a big butt! lol..... > The only jeans I have found that fit me are Lee's. Guest guest
By mail order I have so far been really impressed with the fit and quality from Lands End (www.landsend.com). I have usually found I have to order a size larger jeans just to get around my large rear and end up with the 3 or 4 inches extra at the waist. Lands End jeans and trousers all having a fitting description and by ordering more loosely cut ones I find I can fit into a normal size 18 (yeah no XLs). They'll also hem them to the leg length you require. For a little extra cost they'll also custom make a pair to your specific measurements! Check them out. Guest guest
Based on this discussion, I visited the Land's End website. They're offering " custom " jeans and chinos based on measurements you send them. If you have trouble getting jeans to fit well, I'd check this out. http://www.landsend.com/cd/index/fp/0,,39797,00.html?sid=8641013625777160170 Donna in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada Donna.Hrynkiw@... Guest guest
I have found that 'Classic' style jeans from The Gap minimise 'the gap' problem. Does anybody have ideas on styles of cotton casual pants that don't gap for us pears? I was on a roll for a while with Dockers but the two Dockers stores near me closed and I haven't been able to find them in any department stores. Guest guest
I bought a pair of Lee plain front pants that have no gap and no elastic in the wiast and they come in talls and shorts. I bought them at JC Penney for like $30. I will go to the gap tomorrow and take a look there. I wore a pair of my boyfriends jeans today and they fit perfect in the back, just too low in the front. I may end up buying mens jeans. Re: Stehpanie......jeans I have found that 'Classic' style jeans from The Gap minimise 'the gap' problem.
