Guest guest
I am probably the only goofball on this list that reads the Spanish newspapers, but has anybody heard of border incursions by Mexican Army personnel to assist with drug smuggling. The attached article details a worrisome incursion out near El Paso. While the Mexican government denies any incursion, Texas and Border Patrol officials say it is occurring. Guest guest
First of all the story that Sal is talking about and the one the one that was posted are two totally different stories. Our service area stops at the rio grande river, and there have been alot of recent stories of Border Patrol Agents getting shot at form the Mexican side, stiking vehicle and boats. As far as the mexican gov't, you never know who is currupt and who is not. Was it the Mexican Gov't helping to cross drug? I would not doupt it. Just this morning they are reporting that a tunnel was found in california from mexico that is 1 mile long, with electicity and it own ventilation system. Anyway having lived in a Border City all of my life, anything is possible with the Mexican gov't. > The NBC story states that the " soldiers " were in HUMVEE's (sp) with 50 > cal. MG's on them.
