Guest guest
Sativex has already been licensed for use in Canada to > relieve pain in people with MS. I personally know a MS patient who was on enough narcotics and pain patches to run his own pharmacy. Unfortunately they only helped and did not completely relieve the pain. Not to mention other drugs he was taking for side effects of other drugs. Sativex works quite well for him..he uses it plus one other narcotic pain killer only if needed..mind you he is in advanced stages of MS. Do realize that besides Sativex ,phenobarbitual is an antiseizure medication derived from pot.. newer medicine is now on the market so it is mainly used for vet use and as an antinausant. Opium is the most famous illegal drug in which most narcotics are derived from.. these include codiene, morphine, hydrocodone etc. I think the main difference is with pharmacuticals the dosing is controlled and no longer ressembles the actual natural product.
