Hang in there Amy, this is all temporary, just keep thinking of the little

munchkin you will be holding in your arms in just a few months now and do

whatever they tell you.

Hi Amy. I had irritable uterus and cervix. I was on very limited activity

and bedrest when contractions increased. I had this with all 5 of my

pregnancy. Fortunately the earliest I went was 36 weeks. Brethine the drug

they use to stop contractions is contraindicated with Graves so the best was

just rest. Also after 25 weeks the OB had me drink a small glass of wine at

night to relax my uterus. (I know alcohol, but this small amount is actually

therapeutic). So hang in there!

Does this mean you aren't supposed to take it? What if you are in

remission? Of course my antibodies at last check were high.

Thanks

Amy

I will Amy, I will send something out to you privately with a few sites on

it for when things get really boring! Only 4 weeks togo already! Wow, you

are getting there! That means you are already down from 20 weeks to 16.

You will make it and so will this little blessing who is going to keep you

up all night LOL <ducking>

They are so worth whatever we have to do to bring them into this world.

Honest!

Thanks, Jody, for the response on and inquiry about Amy. She had a

great week last week, but had what our family calls a " meltdown " on Friday

afternoon and hasn't really recovered yet. She gets upset at minor things

and starts crying in anger and frustration. Unexpected home life changes,

social settings, you name it, she reacts.

Also, she's having pain in various parts of her body. Her ankle, shoulder,

wrist. Today we go in for labs but I'm concerned that the numbers may be

somewhat unreliable because she's about to have a cycle. Still, the doctor

wanted to test her in two weeks and we're there.

I'm not sure how I'd handle another child with Graves' or anything else

autoimmune, so I hope things for turn out all right. I do appreciate

the input, though, and look forward to hearing from Elaine as well. And even

though I'd rather have be perfectly well, I'm the type who would rather

know now than not. :-)
