Eighty percent of all lumps are NOT cancerous. Plus breast cancer is not the death sentence it was once thought to be. There are a lot of long term survivors. It been 15 1/2 yrs for me and there are ladies in here farther along. Please post back and let us know how things are going. We will try to answer any questions you may have and please tell your Mother she is welcome to join the group. I will keep you both in my prayers. The ones that don't know what to say, say nothing and that hurts. It made me feel like they were rejecting me. Makes it easier to know who you are talking to. We don't need to know anything more about you than you feel comfortable telling us. We are here to help you through this.
