Guest guest Posted September 28, 2002 Report Share Posted September 28, 2002 Went to get my hay this afternoon and I can honestly say it was a grueling trip. Got about 2 miles from my place and found it harder to breath without my cord attached to my nose. Oh well, it will have to wait until I get back...!!!! (that's what I said to myself) I got my hay, got it all unloaded and back to bed I went....attached my face to the air factory and here I'll stay until I feed in a 1/2 hr. I tried to lay down but boy are my lung muscles weak. I'm sitting up and it's still not the most pleasant thing. I have a tad bit of a sore throat....Hmmm, I bet it was all the chocolate Zanna fed me. Gosh I wish I had some now. lol... It's been cold up here today. Hovering around 67 deg. I'm really bugged that I have to be hook to this machine while it's cool outside. It's not fair. Dawn, what I meant about the ICU was.. My doctor only sees patients on Thursday now. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday she's teaching doctors in ICU and on Friday she's off or so she says, but that's the day she catches up on her paperwork. So, if I have to go in I will go to ICU to have her take a look at me. Better than her leaving the ICU and walking across the hospital to see me in her room. That's another thing I love about her. She's told me that no matter what, If I'm sick to come right in and the nurses will find her. She's just so devoted to her profession that I wonder if she has a life of her own. Right about now I could go to the transplant ward for a new body.... Ok, I'm going to feed early tonight so can get into my jammies and REALLY rest.
