Guest guest
I've seen a couple of references to wills. I worked as a paralegal for a Family Practice lawyer and the general rule for wills and poas is that you need them period. Even if you think there is nothing to inherit you would be surprised. AND if there are any children of any age in your life you definitely need a will to protect them. If for nothing else to dictate who will take care of them if you and/or their father is not available due to death. POAs are for other than death typically they are for financial and medical decision making. I never wrote one that had to do with children if the parents were medically disabled but I'm sure that can be done. Each state is different but there is enough information out there to get something done without spending a lot on lawyer fees. Hugs,
