I did sleep on my side in the hospital on day 2 (I don't even remember day

1) I had the dreaded wedge so that crossing the legs was virtually

impossible. I called the nurse and two of them rolled me onto my side as I

pulled the siderail and they put about eight pillows behind me to keep me on

my side. It really was much much better than sleeping on my back which is so

very difficult for me (I am also an insomniac) Hope this helps!
