Guest guest
it was an ugly experience for my daughter-she suffered severe cognitive problems, and it was a very ugly wean to get her off. Other people have had good experiences with it, but for us, it was an ugly one. mother of Jackie age 8 kepra and depakote

Guest guest
Hi, Thanks for your input. Did she have any hepatic problems? My daughter is also on Kepra. How do you like it? We haven't had any problems with it, but her new neurologist doesn't like it which is why we are trying Zonegran. He wants her on it and off of Kepra. Thanks, Marsha mom of Lyndsie age 19 > it was an ugly experience for my daughter-she suffered severe cognitive problems, and it was a very ugly wean to get her off. Guest guest
My daughter was on zonegran- briefly- pre-diet. It was added on to her lamictal. It turned her into a zombie so I insisted she come off of it. I have heard that kids " adjust " over time to this med and maybe I never gave her that chance, but I have also heard it referred to as " ZONE-a-gran " . As I am sure you know, though, every kid is different and I am sure it works well for some kids. I hope it works for you. , mom to Langan 18 months old and keto kid since 11/03 > >Reply-To: ketogenic >To: ketogenic >Subject: Zonegran/Zonisimide questions >Date: Wed, 18 Feb 2004 14:52:56 -0000 > _________________________________________________________________ Find and compare great deals on Broadband access at the MSN High-Speed Marketplace. http://click.atdmt.com/AVE/go/onm00200360ave/direct/01/
Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the info. I called the neuro this afternoon after her urobilinogen level was elevated and they are taking her off and checking liver function tomorrow. I don't know why but just don't like that med so am glad we are getting rid of it. My daughter is also on Lamictal and Keppra as well as Klonopin. Thanks again for the input.
