Guest guest
So how do you get the photo on the page? Bonnie, Mom to a 23, Patty CHARGE 21, and wife to RE: Martha, Ellen, Chantelle,....Ellen- CT Martha- What a wonderful testament to the thought that we all just have to do something. It doesn't matter what it is. Sometimes we can do big things. Sometimes we can do small things. But we just have to do something. Developing a face-to-face relationship with " the powers that be " is really important. It doesn't have to be a big deal. But it's powerful for them to have a face to go with an issue. When any disability legislation comes across their desks, you want them to have a real person in mind that their decision will impact. Taking the first step to get out there and meet them can be hard. But once you get out and do it, it gets easier. Giving a campaign contribution is a sure way to help them remember who you are. And it doesn't have to be a large amount of money. Putting a sign in the yard is another good way to be remembered. For those of us who have computers, we can include a photo on all correspondence so our faces (and/or our kids') are always connected with our names and our issues. Guest guest
, OK so I guess you don't know how computer illiterate I am. Since I am in CT right now I guess I'll have to wait to get back home and have Patty show me how. Re: Martha, Ellen, Chantelle,....Ellen- CT So how do you get the photo on the page? Guest guest
Bonnie- She'll know how! The only time you can't insert a photo is when you are emailing from the legislator website. Most of them have a form where you fill in your info and your message. No room for a photo there.
