Raising your AM cortils is key to lowering to high night time cortiosl.

But you probably need mroe than ONE Am dose to accomplish this. I would

try 5 pelletw in the Am thne around noon 3 pellets thne 4PM 2 more. Then

make sure you take PS 2 hours before bedtime. You also could try 1-3mg

Melatonin right before bed as it also lowers cortisol. DO NOT TAKE mroe

than 3mg or it can lower AM cortisol as well and undo any good you are

doing.

Thanks Val, but my cortisol is highest at 5 pm, then drops down within range but

still high end of range before bedtime.

Cortisol Morning (saliva) 4.1 ng/ml 3.7-9.5

Cortisol Noon (saliva) 2.5 ng/ml 1.2-3.0

Cortisol Evening (saliva) 3.3H ng/ml 0.6-1.9

Cortisol Night (saliva) 0.8 ng/ml 0.4-1.0

Should I take maybe 5 pellets in the morning and 3 more at 11:00 -- then no

more? That evening (5 pm) cortisol feels awful, but by bedtime is not too bad.

I would stil try the schedule I gave oyu. As soonas you take enough cortiosl in

the AM it will lower your ACTh and CHANGE your whoel rythm, mainly it will

loower the afternoon time when you take a hefty Am dose.

I have added Isocort - 5 in the am, 3 at noon, 2 at four, and now my temps are

lower and I feel more tired. I just raised T3 to 87.5 as of yesterday - had

been on 75 mcg for several weeks after working up to it in 6 weeks. What do the

lower temps indicate??

Tks,
