Guest guest Posted December 7, 2005 Report Share Posted December 7, 2005 I never thought I would join anything like this but I need to know that the problems I am having are not exclusive to me!!!l.o.l.I'm so confused!!!I am hoping that someone can help! Two years ago I was diagnosed with hyper thyroid.I had a huge lump in my neck so, long story cut short, they Cut the lump out(removed half my thyroid) told me I would not need any medication and sent me on my merry way.Everything went haywire!!!!!Apparently I ended up with hypothyroid after the surgery. Ended up gaining loads of weight, was put on Levoxyl but I find that I can't lose any weight whether I am on the levoxyl or not.As a matter of fact, I don't gain as much when I stop taking the levoxyl.I have really good will power and can stay on a strict diet very easily but it doesn't make any difference.Is anyone out there on Levoxyl and sees no difference whatsoever???Or am I just nuts!!!!!!
