Guest guest Posted June 4, 2003 Report Share Posted June 4, 2003 I didn't get to the Y today so I thought I would try out my exercise ball. First I did a warm up using the things we do in swim class. Then I did a few minutes of aerobics (out of water it is much harder to do <G>). Then I did some ball exercises. I could feel it. I wonder if I will be sore tomorrow. I also got my new bike back from the store. I brought it home last week and the brakes were dragging so I took it back to be fixed. Anyways, I rode about 4 blocks with my son; part of it uphill. By the time I got back home, I was beat. lol. It is going to take some time for me to build up on my bike riding. It has been over 20 yrs since I have been on a bike. I was wobbling all over the place at first until I got my balance. I know I looked funny. I imagine I will be riding with my son on a daily basis. Hopefully I will be able to increase my distance. The hard part is that I live in MT; in Butte. I live uptown which is very hilly. You can go downhill very easy but the uphill climb is murder. My son, who is used to riding all the time, just zips along the hills like they are nothing while I am barely moving enough to keep the bike upright. <G> Looks funny I am sure. maryruth 235/198.75/155 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
