Guest guest
Hi Regina Pyle, > eats a pretty big variety and a very large quantity of food. (He never seems full) > > He eats 4-5 fruits a day. (green apples, pear and apple sauce, bananas, green grapes, watermelon, and occasionally raisins) Your report sounds similar to how was on the diet and I thought before I read this email that I bet he's eating raisins. When I removed the harder to digest foods like raw fruit, fruit peels and dried fruit (especially raisins) 's loose, mushy stools finally firmed up. > Meats: mostly chicken made a variety of ways.( Favorite:chicken nuggets made with chicken and pureed veggies then fried in olive oil) pork meatballs, mock sausage, turkey burgers or turkey breast. Occasionally flounder. > > Veggies only when disguised. I mash them into everything. Mostly carrots, cauliflower, peas, green beans, squash and broccoli. If changing the fruit as above doesn't quite help enough you may want to remove the broccoli and cauliflower for a while just to give his gut a chance to do a little more healing. Both broccoli and cauliflower belong to the cabbage family and are harder to digest. > Nutbutters- homemade cashew or macadamia If he is still having soft stools then he may not be ready for cashews. Even when ground to nut butter they are still more complex than other nuts and are harder to digest. The rest looks pretty good, hope this helps Sheila, SCD 48 mos, 20 yrs UC mom of , SCD 33 mos

Guest guest
> I know this is off your topic, but if you don't mind my asking - the " chicken > nuggets " - Do you just puree the chicken with the veggies and then fry in olive > oil? That sounds like something my son would love. Thanks! > grapes, watermelon, and occasionally raisins) CHICKEN NUGGETS by Deanna Nut flour crushed fresh garlic salt pepper papkrika dried parsley (all spices to taste) eggs Combine nut flour, crushed fresh garlic, salt, pepper, paprika and dried parsley flakes to taste. The result should resemble seasoned cornflake crumbs in color. Dip bite-sized pieces of chicken in beaten egg, then roll in the nut-flour mixture. Fry in oil on both sides until coating is golden. Guest guest
Hi , The chicken was cut into small pieces but was not made into puree. The size of the chicken piece may vary. Yesterday,I made " chicken nuggets " in all sizes and they all tasted delicious! Mimi > the " chicken > nuggets " - Do you just puree the chicken with the veggies and then fry in olive > oil?
