We will be arriving at the hospital around 10:30 am. I do not know when we will be arriving in Iowa City on the Sunday evening prior to the appointment. I hope we will be able to meet up with you! I would love to show off my almost 3 year old's foot for you! Just look for the tired mom with the newborn boy and hyper-active toddler running in circles! What a relief, I was a little anxious about travelling alone with the baby. It is a wonderful gesture from my mom and dad who will pay for Janne's trip. We were hoping to escape the Finnish arctic winter but I guess it was who said it is cold there as well.. Apparently your time is eight hours less than ours. We were living in Japan and flew to Cedar Rapids to see Dr. Ponseti also--although not until DS was 8 1/2 months old and we learned more about Dr. Ponseti and his treatment method. He's now 17 months old. I can understand how you will be feeling after the long flight, but, trust me, it will be worth it! Dr. Ponseti is absolutely the finest and most experienced.
