Hi, and Trudy,

No, it wasn't a typo but a miscommunication. Sorry! What I meant by saying

the Sotalol doesn't affect my afib at all was if, I am in fact having vagal

afib, the Sotalol should exacerbate the afib because of the beta blocker.

Beta blockers are contraindiated in vagal afib. I am questioning whether I

actually have vagal afib, for I have been on Sotalol for nine months and I

have had no afib attacks and yes, it is working. It may, however, be that

there is very little beta blocker in Sotalol when compared to something like

Toprol. On Toprol, I was going in and out of afib for short spurts. Sorry

for the confusion.

Loretta
