Guest guest
From VMyths.com, a virus confirmation site: Family Pictures virus A hoax virus alert created as a direct rip-off of the PrettyPark virus alert chain letter. The hoaxster merely changed " PrettyPark " to " Family Pictures. " Like PrettyPark, it claims Intel issued the alert, and it urges people to " forward this to everyone in your address book. I would rather receive this 25 times than not at all. " Two variations of this hoax already exist. One calls it the " New Family Pictures " virus; another calls it the " New Pictures of Family " virus. --02/15/01 You can go here for the full story: http://www.Vmyths.com/hoax.cfm?id=242 & page=3 > Message: 14 > Date: Tue, 1 May 2001 09:44:31 -0500 > From: " Bob Zarn " <bczarn@...> > Subject: Fw: Warning Serious Virus Alert > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Marj Bone > > Mitch works in the Computer Dept at Great-West Life, so this is probably not a > hoax. > > Marj >
