I never did spot after the internals, although it did take me hours to uncross my eyes (LOL!)....sorry, couldn't resist! 1/2 cm is great....just keep that up and by the time you get to the hospital you will be at 5...6...7... 17 pounds total is just great too, I'm soooo jealous! I gained 18 with Matt and I could wear my regular jeans again after I had him. I'm sure you feel miserable, but you don't have long to go. I'm hoping for a spontaneous birth too!!!!! I had an exam yesturday and I am not dilated and the baby is still " high up there " . My cervix is soft but that didn't mean much to me!!! I didn't have any bleeding. I wonder if you did lose your plug. I find myself really looking each time I go to the bathroom, even in the middle of the night, I turn the bright light on to check -I know I am a freak! That is so funny your dr noticed a change in your personality. Did your dr tell you to rest and take it easy? I am still waiting for my dr to say that in front of my dh!! The doc was funny to recognize the difference in my personality, I was suprised. I guess he was in a good mood that day. I am lucky, he is a nice and pleasant doctor, I think the days that he is not he is rushed and has to many patients to see. From what it seems, that was not my plug, so I am still on the look out! I know when I was 38 weeks that was the last thing I wanted to hear, but after one " natural " labor and one induced, I'd be willing to wait 5 days for the natural! I know it feels like forever now, but my labor was so much better with Cameron!
