I got preg with Doc's Ok at 9 mos post op. I was 40. YOu have to take all

things into consideration. The gyno will only deal with his issues and the

surgeon his. I am now having trouble trying to conceive my 2nd and the pros

are pessimistic, it is very discouraging. I am so thankful I started trying

when I did cause the odds for us oldies drop dramatically. I did not reach

my goal and have not continued to lose since pregnancy. I wish I could have

gone another 6-12 mos but wouldn't give up the joy of my son for ANYTHING in

the world. In the end you need to way the pros and cons for you.

Hi........

I just have a question, i had my surgery Nov 20 2001 and when i went threw

all my blood work and misc stuff and talked to the surgeron the first thing

he asked me is if i was on the pill or some type of birth control. Me

myself do not belieave in birth control pretty much of any kind. But i did

go on the pill before surgery just in case i did get pg and i couldn't have

the surgery. Anyways i am now off of any type of birth control and also

trying to conceive. I have not told the surgeron because he told me NO

babies for 2 years. Well i am 40 years old and the ol time clock is a

tickin. I belieave God will help me with this and if it's my turn to get pg

it will happen. If not, well it's his decision. I have a boy and girl

already but would loooooove one more. Did the surgerons you girls see upset

you got pg so soon?
