Guest guest
- Has he had an EEG to rule out a seizure disorder? Tracey (mom to a BIG Skyler <17 y.o.>)
Guest guest
- EEG's can show other things besides seizure activity (I think). When you said Skyler just 'looks beyond you,' I thought of absence sz activity. Someone suggested (Barb?) testing for neurotransmitter disease and I think this is an outstanding idea...even if it requires a spinal tap. And of course, the results should be sent to the 'experts' at Emory. Have the neuro think of other neuromuscular disease as well...w/Skyler's low tone. Does he have any facial droopiness? (Though *extremely* rare, this was my Skyler's first symptom of myasthenia gravis). Good luck to the mom. Tracey
