Just thought I would jump in. Replenishing electrolytes help curb/stop

diarrhea. For a non-keto kid you would give something like Pedialyte. I'm

wondering if the electrolyte/hydration packets (plain) have any carbs in

them. It might be worth checking into. If they are basically carb free

then I would mix them in with a drink or food. You can find them in a

pharmacy.

PS But that, unfortuantely, does not deal with bacterial issue, for

which yoghurt with live cultures or the powdered acidopholous is very

good idea

Apparently Hopkins recommends glaceau - basically like a carb-free

version of pedialyte (as I understand it)
