Bonnie,

I think it's a great literacy tool for all kids; not just those who are deaf

or hard of hearing. Kennedy is an excellent reader and I attribute that in

part to the cc'ing.

She loves it.

Um i dont mean the close captioning on the tv, this is an actual machine

called a cctv that you put a book under the light and it enlarges the text

on the screen. i think the cctv stands for closed curcut tv. (not quite the

same as closed captioning sorry.)

If i say screen reader then that means the computer based zoom text wich is

different too. I wish the cctv had a name that made it easy to explain and

didnt get confused with closed captioning.

Am I making any sence? I can find some urls to pictures if that will help.

Yes I know what you mean now Chantelle! DUH! I was having a burn out

moment. I need to stop staring at this screen for hours and hours writing

papers; my mind is melting!
