Guest guest
Bonnie, I think it's a great literacy tool for all kids; not just those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Kennedy is an excellent reader and I attribute that in part to the cc'ing. She loves it. > > Michele and Chantelle, > > We've had CCTV since Patty was around 4 or 5. Guest guest
Um i dont mean the close captioning on the tv, this is an actual machine called a cctv that you put a book under the light and it enlarges the text on the screen. i think the cctv stands for closed curcut tv. (not quite the same as closed captioning sorry.) If i say screen reader then that means the computer based zoom text wich is different too. I wish the cctv had a name that made it easy to explain and didnt get confused with closed captioning. Am I making any sence? I can find some urls to pictures if that will help.
